PLANTA
The company PLANTA Projektmanagement-Systeme GmbH , which has been active on the German market for more than 20 years, deals with creation and subsequent implementation of their own project management system PPMS, which is designed for the company’s clientele. Planta chose to cooperate with Syntactic Sugar on the basis of a competitive tendering, where the participants were given the task of creating an independently running program module according to detailed instructions.
The Goal:
• Continuously innovate the PPMS system, the existing version of which did not correspond to needs and expectations of both existing and new users.
• Develop a completely new version of the client program for the Windows environment with the use of the .NET technology, which would make it possible to offer to clients unchanged functionality in a modern graphic form, and modification of the server part of the system with emphasis on flexibility, while preserving functionality and future extensibility.
