Education - this time focusing on constructive feedback

Constructive feedback was the number one topic in a cycle of internal soft skills training.

We consider soft skills and their development to be an integral part of not only personal but also professional development of each individual. Communication or presentation skills, leadership and teamwork are typical soft skills.

Constructive feedback as a training topic is often being forgotten. Lots of individuals perceive the feedback as something negative and therefore undesirable. This is one of the reasons we have included this issue in the training cycle. Proper delivering and understanding of the feedback improves both collaboration and communication within the team and also with external entities. It also increases productivity and reduces unwanted repetition of mistakes. Positive feedback is a powerful motivational tool.

The training was prepared by Petra Chovancová a former member of the international student organization AIESEC and a founder of the civic association Key2Be that provides education to young people in a field of personal development. Petra brought to a training an unique view of a young person who has had a varied experience in leading people, whether in the Republic, or as a manager of AIESEC in Qatar.

The whole event was very well received, mainly because we had the opportunity to directly use newly acquired theoretical knowledge and the training finally became a game.
